About St. Catherine of Siena's Works:

Saint Catherine of Siena began writing her letters around the year 1370. Almost four hundred survive to this day. These Letters of Catherine Benincasa, are considered one of the masterpieces of early Tuscan literature. However, her major work is Libro della divina dottrina, which contains six treatises on doctrine which she wrote in about 1377, before she went to Rome for the last time. She is also thought to have authored more than twenty prayers.
